It goes something like this....
Each of us are born with an internal question and this is the quest I am on. We choose to answer these Quests differently but their colors have been written through history to guide us. The Heroes Journey is a Quest. On this Journey our young hero must make some external renunciations of the world and commit to his own inner knowing. Most often alone, he will set off on his quest free of all prior bonds and connections, or the Heroes Journey demands complete commitment to the present. Because of the huge sacrifices required there is an element of sadness and loss that must be lived through to overcome. The hero must journey into the waste land of his soul before he finds his Eden. Although the Quest may have a goal and a destination, the true Quest and its fulfillment happens inside the hero. He finds through challenge and courage his own inner wisdom and discovers that all he strives for or could desire resides within him. He returns home with a heart as wide as the worlds.
